Kyle Zarotney

Kyle Zarotney graduated from Berlin High School in 2006. During his freshmen year he was a member of the JV and Varsity basketball and baseball teams. During his sophomore year in basketball he was selected to the All-Northwest Conference Basketball and All-Tournament Team and received the Berlin basketball Defensive Award. During his junior year he was a key member of the Class L State Championship baseball team and was selected to the All-Northwest Conference baseball team and received CHSCA Honorable Mention All-State. As an integral part of the basketball team that year he received the Basketball Coaches Award, the William A. Gibney Basketball Award, and played AAU basketball with the CBC, Connecticut Basketball Club. During his final year as a senior he was All-Academic Northwest Conference and captain of both the baseball and basketball teams. He was a Second Team All-State Basketball selection as well as a preseason McDonald’s All-American nominee for basketball. The basketball team that year won the Division III State Championship, the first in the school history. He was selected to the CHSCA Senior All-Star baseball roster as well as the CHSCA Connecticut All-Star baseball roster.
After graduating Kyle was recruited and played baseball at CCSU where he was selected to the All-Tournament Team as a Sophomore and Senior. The team won the 2010 NEC Baseball Championship. Between his junior and senior years, he spent the summer playing in the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League for the Sag Harbor Whalers and was selected to play in the 2009 ACBL All-Star game.
Kyle married his wife Jennifer in 2015 and they have a 2 year old daughter Quinn and are expecting their second child in May of 2019.
